CRYOPERL® is chemically inert

There are many insulation materials. For their suitability as ultra-low temperature insulation material there are a number of decisive criteria. Over the years, many have come to the conclusion that perlite offers decisive advantages in two of the most important criteria: Safety and Simplicity. While other materials, such as fiberglass-aluminum compound mats, achieve good insulation performance, they use a number of different materials. These different materials have to be joined together, for example by the use of other substances such as adhesives. All these substances carry the risk under certain circumstances, either with each other or with the surrounding materials. In addition, adhesives in principle involve the risk of of outgassing, which in turn can potentially trigger a reaction with the surrounding environmental media. CRYOPERL® offers decisive advantages here. Firstly, it is structurally homogeneous: CRYOPERL® consists of pure perlite. A reaction of ingredients react with each other is therefore ruled out. Secondly, CRYOPERL® is chemically inert. This means that CRYOPERL® does not react with potential reaction partners (e.g. air, water, reactants and products of a reaction) or only to a negligible extent. With these two advantages on the product side advantages for you are more or less automatic: The documentation of the insulation ingredients is extremely simple if there is only one ingredient. The means less work for you and more time for the essentials. The same effect you experience during backfilling: no special safety precautions need to be taken resulting from any reactivity of the insulation material.
